Woman wanted for using counterfeit money to purchase gift cards

A woman is wanted for allegedly using counterfeit money to purchase gift cards from a local Rite Aid.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident happened on Saturday, Dec. 8. We’re told the suspect used 11 counterfeit $50 bills to purchase two Green Dot Money Packs at the pharmacy check out. One gift card was in the amount of $400 and the other was $100. She then received $40.10 in change from the cashier.

The suspect is described as black female, approximately 5'7, 160 pounds, purple shirt, white shorts, sandals, with a tattoo on her right upper arm that appears to be three lines of words in black ink.
