Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — THIS IS AN NBC33 NEWS UPDATE: According to family and friends, Chantell Johnese was was shot and killed during a drive-by shooting outside of her home on Valley Street around two Friday afternoon .

The Baton Rouge Police Department still does not have either a motive or a suspect in this case, but family and friends are in shock, “I just don’t really know what to say. [I] just miss her already” says cousin Carissa Raby.

ORIGINAL STORY: One woman is in the hospital after a drive by shooting on Valley Street.

The incident happened this afternoon just after 2 p.m. Police have no suspect or motive at this time. An official with the Baton Rouge Police Department tells NBC33 News that the woman was standing in the yard when she was shot multiple times.
