Dozens of businesses cleaning up after police say someone shot their windows out.

It's thought to have happened overnight.

Most of the businesses are in Plaqumine. Police tell NBC33 News the suspect may have used a pellet gun to shoot the windows out.

Some businesses were empty. Most others, like Leblanc's Food Store were not.

The co-manager says he wants whoever's responsible caught.

Every now and then you hear about something happening, but it’s never happened to us,” Thomas Porter, Co-manager of Leblanc Food Store, said. “It actually hit home last night. You hear about things elsewhere in Plaquemine - actually they hit us last night and it hurts.”

Surveillance video given to NBC33 News by one of the stores hit last night shows what happened.

Police say they're still investigating.

Police have identified a vehicle that may be involved in the incident.
