WANTED: Two men accused of robbing convenience store employee at gunpoint

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of two men who are believed to have committed an armed robbery at a convenience store.

The Lafayette Police Department is searching for Aldon Bob, Jr., 21, and Jamar Sellers, 30. Both men have been connected to the robbery that happened on Monday, Sept. 23 shortly before 11:00 p.m.

Investigators believe the due walked into the store located in the 2300 block of Ambassador Caffery Parkway. One stood at the door and the other grabbed an employee and held her at gunpoint while she was forced to remove money from the register.

The two were able to escape with an undisclosed amount of cash. They then fled the scene in a white 4-door vehicle.
