CECILIA, LA (NBC33) — Deputies need help from the public to locate a prison inmate who walked away from a work detail this afternoon.

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that Bryce Christopher Jackson, 21, was last seen at roughly 1:30 p.m. He’s currently incarcerated on charges of Simple Burglary, Theft and Unauthorized Use of a Moveable. He was part of a work detail located in Cecilia near the library.

Jackson was last seen wearing a gray sweat shirt with an orange T-shirt underneath, gray sweat pants and black work boots. He’s described as a black male, black hair with green eyes, 5’9”, 160 lbs.
