Van crashed into Hammond convenience store during burglary

Tangipahoa Parish authorities are looking for a silver/pewter minivan, occupied by two males, that was driven into a local business during a burglary.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., detectives responded to an alarm from a convenient store located on Pumpkin Center Road. Upon arrival, they saw that a vehicle had plowed through the front glass doors of the building and burglarized the cash boxes from ATM Machines.

Video surveillance footage showed a pewter / silver blue mini van as the suspect vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle were wearing dark hooded sweat shirts, gloves and something covering their faces.
