Brandi Comeaux, the Lafayette Parish mother accused of allowing juveniles to drink at a party at her home, turned herself in to authorities. This, after the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office pleaded with the public for help in finding Comeaux.

The LPSO said it had made contact with Comeaux, but she refused to turn herself in to face charges. Investigators contend Comeaux allowed juveniles to drink alcohol at her home at a party on August 10, 2014. During the party, a boy was severely injured with a broken jaw. Investigators claim Comeaux refused to help get medical aid for the boy because she didn't want to face criminal charges for the children comsuming liquor at her home.
