THIS IS AN NBC33 NEWS UPDATE: Baton Rouge Police arrested two men for the armed robbery of the Bet-R Grocery Store. The two men entered the store with hand guns demanding money. The suspects grabbed money and were seen leaving in a 2006 white Dodge pick up.

Uniform Officers located the abandoned truck on Dalrymple Dr near City Park. While patrolling the area officers spotted both suspects and were able to apprehend them without incident.

Johnell Bradley, 35, a homeless man living in Baton Rouge and Sheron Heard, 33, of Baton Rouge, were arrested and charged with Armed Robbery.

The vehicle was reported stolen through the EBR Sheriff's Office.
 

ORIGINAL STORY: Around 10:20 a.m. an armed robbery happened at the Bet R grocery store located near the Perkins Road Overpass. The Baton Rouge Police Department has little details to provide at this time.

The Bet R grocery store is located at 2812 Kalurah Street.
