UPDATE: Suspects wanted for shooting death on Columbus Dunn Road

THIS IS AN NBC33 NEWS UDPATE: The Baton Rouge Police Department is currently seeking two suspects for the shooting death of Jeremy Stewart, 25, who was found in his vehicle on Columbus Dunn Road in Baton Rouge.

Jordan K. Tate, 17, and Lashonda Sanford, 23, are wanted for First Degree Murder and Armed Robbery.

Police believe the two suspects shot and killed Stewart during an apparent drug deal.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Baton Rouge Police Department is trying to figure out why a man was shot and killed while sitting in his vehicle on Columbus Dunn Road.

Police found Jeremy Stewart, 25, of Baton Rouge in his vehicle with a gun shot wound at around 1:00 a.m. on Monday, March 5. Stewart was transported to a local hospital, but soon died as a result of his injury.

The vehicle was parked on the side of the road, and detectives have not been able to determine a motive for this shooting.
