UPDATE: Jason Banks has been arrested for Conspiracy and related drug counts in reference to the homicide that occurred on March 30, 2012 at the Relax Inn Motel located in Plaquemine.

It is believed that Banks conspired with Jerome Harden to go to the hotel to rob subjects whereas during the attempt one person was shot and killed.

Banks is being held in the Iberville Parish Jail.

UPDATE: The Iberville Parish Sheriff's office says Jerome Harden was arrested earlier today, Friday, April 6, by Port Allen Police.

He's charged with Second-Degree Murder in the shooting death of Brian Dailey.

Dailey was shot when he opened the door to his back at the Relax Inn on March 30.
 

ORIGINAL STORY: Police have released new information in last week's murder at a Plaquemine motel.

Deputies say Jerome Harden is wanted for the shooting death of Brian Dailey.

Officers said they think Harden is still in the area.
