UPDATE: Police say Trei Bailey, 18, is wanted in connection to the shooting death of Dandre Robertson.

Lee Michael Williams is already facing charges in the case.
  

UPDATE: Authorities tell NBC33 that Dandre Robertson, 22, was taken off life support and died of injuries he sustained in the shooting.

Lee Michael Williams is in parish prison tonight, already charged in the shooting; that charge will be upgraded to Second-Degree Murder.

ORIGINAL STORY: A 22-year-old man was shot in the face early this morning and police have caught the man they believe to be responsible.

The Baton Rouge Police Department was called to the 4700 block of Shelley Street shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14. When they arrived they found the victim in the street suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.

We’re told that the victim was watching two females who were fist fight in the yard. That’s when they say the suspect, Lee Michael Williams, 24, of Baton Rouge, shot the victim.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. His condition has not changed.
Williams was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He is charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder and Illegal Use of a Weapon.
