UPDATE: New Orleans police have arrested Brian Beasley, 21, after he turned himself in on Thursday at about 5:30 p.m. Police said they're also looking for suspects Jermaine Rumley, 21, Darren Holmes, 19, and Glenn Elliott, 17.

Beasley is charged with armed robbery, aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping after the incident last Thursday in the 1300 block of South Gayoso Street.

Police said the victim was in the 4100 block of Thalia Street when she was kidnapped and ordered to go to the location on Gayoso Street. That's where she was raped by multiple men in an abandoned home, police said.

ORIGINAL STORY: A woman was sexually assaulted by as many as half a dozen men in Central City, New Orleans police said.

On Thursday, police said two armed men approached a 53-year-old woman and took her to Erato and South Gayoso streets about 8:15 p.m.

Authorities said the woman was assaulted by five to six men in an area surrounded by overgrown lots and abandoned homes.

Police said they are still investigating on where the woman was taken from and how long she was in the men's custody.
