THIS IS AN NBC33 NEWS UPDATE: Baton Rouge Police department identified the victim in a shooting on Sycamore street.
 

Police say Bobby Rowe, 57 3977 Sycamore Street was shot in the upper torso.
 

Police also identified the man they suspect shot Rowe as Lonnie Charles Johnson Jr.,32, 3977 Sycamore Street.
 

Johnson was arrest at booked into parish prison for Second Degree Murder and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

 

ORIGINAL STORY: The Baton Rouge Police Department is looking in to a shooting that occurred a little before 11:00 a.m. on the 3900 block of Sycamore Street.

The victim, an adult male, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

So far, police have no motive for the shooting.
