UPDATE: Another man arrested in Baton Rouge triple murder case

BATON ROUGE, LA — THIS IS AN NBC33 UPDATE: Baton Rouge Police arrest a second man in connection with a triple murder from July 2009.
26 year-old Hakeem Mumphrey is accused of killing three people in the 6000 block of Byron Street in what police call a “drug deal gone bad”.
Mumphrey is charged with three counts of First Degree Murder.
Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department have arrested Darrelle Dewayne Harris, 28, Richardson, TX and charged him with three counts of First Degree Murder in connection with the shooting deaths of Marcus Thomas, 24, Adrian Stewart, 27, and Gabriella Eisworth, 20. All were shot to death while inside a car in the driveway of a residence in the 6000 block of Byron Street on July 9, 2009 during an apparent drug deal.
Harris was arrested in the Dallas area on October 21 by the U.S. Marshals Service acting on a warrant from the Baton Rouge Police Department. He was extradited and returned to Baton Rouge last evening and has been booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are still possible.
