UPDATE: A 16-year-old got arrested Saturday night after a fatal shooting.

He is charged with three counts of First Degree Murder, one count of Attempted First Degree Murder, and one count of Illegal Use of a Firearm.

The teen is booked into the EBR Juvenile Detention Center. No further information can be provided at this time since he is a juvenile.

Police and sheriff deputies got called to the Baker Civic Club around 11:00 P.M. Friday night.

The club was rented out for a party. Authorities said a fight broke out, and that's when shots were fired.

A teen died at the scene. Two others were transported to a local hospital where they later died. Another remains in stable condition.

"We seem to take really big strides then all of a sudden you get punched in the stomach. The community gets punched in the stomach," said EBR District Attorney Hillar Moore.

"We're talking about kids. Kids who should have a future and an opportunity," added Chief of Police for Baker PD Mike Knaps.

"We feel very confident that we'll be able to identify the person or persons responsible for this act and effect an arrest," said EBR Sheriff Sid Gautreaux.

Victims include: Marcell Franklin, 15 (deceased); Kendal Dorsey, 15 (deceased); Diontrey Claiborne,18 (deceased); Javaughn Simmons, 19 (stable condition).

The EBR Coroner will do the autopsies on Monday.
