Two Sulphur residents arrested on drug charges

On July 10, 2012, detectives with the Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (CAT TEAM) and the Louisiana State Police (LSP) served a search warrant at 1100 Lori Lane, Lot 8, Sulphur, LA. After the execution of the search warrant, officers discovered eight (8) guns, several grams of meth, and merchandise stolen from other burglaries.

Arrested at the residence were Todd Booth and Gina Giamis. Both subjects were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on the following charges.

Todd Booth had a warrant for Illegal possession of stolen firearm, Possession of firearm by a convicted felon, Possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.

Booth was also charged with Possession of CDS I, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Possession of firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, Possession of firearm by a convicted felon, and Possession of CDS II with intent to distribute.

Gina Giamis was arrested on a warrant for Distribution of CDS III.
