Two people shot and killed at T.J. Ribs on Acadian

BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) — Two people, including a Coroner's officer with EBR Parish are dead after a murder - suicide at a popular Baton Rouge restaurant.
It happened around 5:30 at the TJ Ribs on Acadian Thruway. Baton Rouge Police say 27 year old Shawn Jones and 50 year old Raymond Levie were sitting at a table at the restuarant. That's when police say Jones shot Levie, then turned the gun on himself.
Levie was an officer with the EBR Cornoer's office.
Witnesses - including workers and customers were taken from the restaurant to another place to be interviewed by police.
The managing partner of TJ Ribs called the incident "tragic" and "horrific". He says the employees are doing as well as they can and will be offered assistance to help get over what happened.
At the scene - police spent hours in and outside of the place looking for evidence. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
