BEAUMONT, TEXAS — Two people are reported dead in a shooting at the Jefferson County Courthouse Wednesday, March 14 during the morning.

A county employee called the NBC affiliate12News in Beaumont and said at least 3 people have been shot, possibly more. The Beaumont Enterprise is reporting 2 people have been shot dead.
Police have not yet confirmed this information.

The county employee says no employees at the courthouse were hurt, and the victims were visitors. The shooting is reported to have happened outside of the courthouse near the entrance.
