Two men rob friend, then push out of moving vehicle

AMITE, La (NBC33) — Sheriff’s Deputies say after stealing money from an acquaintance, the two robbers threw the victim out of a moving vehicle.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened over the weekend on Saturday, Nov. 12 in the Amite area. They say Bryon Anthony White, 31, and Darius Fields, 21, picked up the victim at his home. That’s when the robbery began.
Officials say White and Fields took the victim to an ATM where he withdrew money. Then, as they drove away, they pushed the victim out of the moving vehicle. The duo then returned and beat him up.
The victim got away and was able to call for help. The suspects managed to escape, but were later arrested at their residence.
White was charged with Robbery, and Fields was charged with Robbery and Second Degree Battery.
The victim was treated at an area hospital for his injuries.
