On November 20, Deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registry Unit arrested two suspects who allegedly did not comply with the laws that correspond to sex offenders.

The first suspect arrested, Carroll Longnon Sr., 49, of Jeanerette, failed to notify deputies that Longnon had a change in his employment status. Longnon was arrested for providing false information to deputies regarding his sex offender status.

The second suspect arrested was Anthony Londo, 41, of New Iberia. Londo failed to notify deputies of his change of address. Deputies learned this information during a routine compliance check of local sex offenders. Londo was arrested for failure to complete community notification as a sex offender.

Both Longnon and Londo were booked into the Iberia Parish Jail and had a $25,000.00 bond.
