Detectives with The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division began an investigation into marijuana being grown in Springfield. Information led Detectives to Linda Haven Road.

During the investigation, deputies captured two suspects caring for their well-tended, mature plants, which were located on an innocent victim’s property.

The suspects were growing two large adult plants inside of a dog kennel, which they padlocked in a wooded area. The value of both plants is estimated to be $2400.00.

On August 13, 2012, the two suspects were arrested. They include Jeremy Gordon, 26, and Brandon Bridges, 18, both of Springfield. Both are charged with Cultivation of Schedule 1 (Marijuana), Criminal Trespassing, and are locked up in the Livingston Parish Detention Center. Bond is set at $100,500.00 each.

This investigation is ongoing.
