Two arrested for string of car thefts on LSU campus

BATON ROUGE, LA. (NBC33) — The LSU Police Department has arrested two suspects in reference to several vehicle burglaires that occurred recently. The incidents happened on Sept. 26 in the MIller Extension parking lot, which is located near Miller Hall Dormitory on LSU's campus.
Two suspects were taken into custody and each charged with two counts of burglary, along with additional counts of other crimes stemming from the investigation.
On Sept. 27, Conner Lynch, 18, of Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with burglary (2 counts), theft by unauthorized use of an access card (misdemeanor), conspiracy to commit forgery, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Daniel Gilmer, 17, of Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with burglary (2 counts), theft by unauthorized use of an access card (misdemeanor), and forgery. Both suspects were booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
