EUNICE, LA — On April 24, 2012 Eunice PD narcotics officers received information stating that marijuana was being sold and smoked at 526D Fuselier Street while children were present.
Narcotics officers then responded to the address and spoke with Vickie Thomas, who rents the apartment.
While on scene officers detected the odor of marijuana and her boyfriend, Braillon Gallow, advised that he smoked marijuana earlier before they arrived. Both were advised that the apartment complex was a "Drug Free Zone" since the property was owned by the Housing Authority.
Vickie Thomas then signed a consent to search form authorizing them to search the premises.
Officers recovered a zip lock bag of marijuana along with marijuana stems and particles from the garbage can in the kitchen. A scale was then located underneath the sofa in the living room which Thomas stated was used to weigh her salad. All of the items were taken as evidence for further investigation. The marijuana was tested and warrants were issued for both subjects.
On May 7, 2012 Vickie Thomas was taken into custody for the warrants related to this case. She appeared before Judge James Doherty for line up on May 8th and bond was set at $14,000, she then bonded out after line up. Braillon Gallow has been eluding officers. Were asking for the public to call if he's seen. His arrest is needed to complete this case.
