Two arrested for selling drugs to undercover agents

Hammond, La — Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the arrest of two Ponchatoula residents for attempting to sell illegal narcotics to undercover agents.
In the afternoon hours of December 18, 2012, undercover agents were contacted by Reginald Donell Grant, 36, regarding the purchase/exchange of illegal narcotics. Undercover agents agreed to meet Grant at an establishment in Ponchatoula where the intention was to exchange money for drugs.
Once agents made contact with Grant and bought the drugs, he was taken into custody.
Grant’s driver, Raymond Allen McKay, 33, was also arrested at this time and subsequently charged.
Grant is currently in the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on charges of Distribution of CDS I (Marijuana), Distribution of CDS II (Crack) and Distribution CDS II (Heroin).
McKay is behind bars and charged with Possession of CDS I, Possession of CDS II (Crack) and Possession of CDS II (Heroin).
