Two arrested following attempted murder following argument in Walker

WALKER, LA (NBC33) — A Denham Springs man was arrested on four counts of attempted murder after he allegedly fired a gun at a vehicle during a verbal argument.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident occurred on Sunday, July 7 at a home located on Carla Drive in Walker. Officials say the suspect, Cody Wilson, 28, fired his gun at a vehicle that had four people inside.
Officials say none of the victims were injured during the incident.
Wilson is charged with four counts of Attempted Second-Degree Murder. He was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on a bond of $150,000.
Additionally, Brett Burkins, 21, was arrested on four counts of Principal to Attempted Second Degree Murder. They have not indicated how he is connected to the crime. His bond was set at $100,000.
Officials say the case remains under investigation.
