Two armed robbers on the loose

On June 22, 2011 deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded in reference to an armed robbery. Once deputies arrived at the scene they learned that the Cracker Barrel convenience store was robbed by two males.

Witnesses stated the two suspects entered the convenience store and held the cashier at gunpoint. The two suspects then reached into the cash register and stole an undisclosed amount of money. Witnesses then stated they observed the two males flee on foot headed west.

The two suspects are described as black males, one wearing a grey hat and red shirt, the other wearing a black hat, black shirt and having a red bandanna around his neck. A suspicious vehicle was spotted in the area at the time of the robbery and is described as a grey – green Mercury Grand Marquis or Ford Crown Victoria.
