Troopers arrest Denham Springs man for 6th DWI offense

Denham Springs (NBC33) — Louisiana State Police arrested Lee Edward Easley, 29, of Denham Springs on Wednesday.
He's accused of driving while intoxicated for the 6th time.
On February 1, 2014, Easley caused a crash that resulted in serious injuries on LA Hwy 1026 near Hwy 16.
Easley lost control of his car and crashed head-on into another vehicle.
Toxicology reports revealed that Easley tested positive for several drugs. He’d also had five previous DWI charges before the February crash.
Easley was arrested at his home and charged with DWI (6th offense), Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle, 1st Degree Vehicular Negligent Injuring and Possession of Schedule I Narcotics (Marijuana). He was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail.
