In Tangipahoa Parish, a 30-year old is locked up on drug charges after an unusual traffic stop.

Deputies say Hawatha Mitchell wasn't driving correctly while on I-12.

When he was pulled over, he got out of the car and a bag of marijuana and some pills fell on the ground.

Deputies say Mitchell told them, "It's only a little weed and some valiums."

When they were done searching, officers found two scales, more weed, and an illegal prescription for more valium.

He's facing a list of charges tonight including Possession of Marijuana.
