Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

Tangipahoa Parish, La (NBC33) — In Tangipahoa Parish, a 30-year old is locked up on drug charges after an unusual traffic stop.
Deputies say Hawatha Mitchell wasn't driving correctly while on I-12.
When he was pulled over, he got out of the car and a bag of marijuana and some pills fell on the ground.
Deputies say Mitchell told them, "It's only a little weed and some valiums."
When they were done searching, officers found two scales, more weed, and an illegal prescription for more valium.
He's facing a list of charges tonight including Possession of Marijuana.
