TPSO arrest Loranger man for 5 traffic violations, 5 drug charges

A Loranger man has been arrested on traffic and narcotics charges.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said they arrested 33-year-old Luke Timberlake, around midnight on February 22.

According to the TPSO, Timberlake was pulled over on Highway 40 in Independence, for a traffic violation.

The arresting deputy's roadside investigation revealed that Timberlake was driving a vehicle with a fraudulent license plate and no registration or insurance.

A bottle was found containing 46 pills, containing what deputies believe to be Adderall, Soma, Lortab, and Vistari.

Timberlake was charged with Failure to Dim (headlights), Driving Under Suspension, Switched Plate, No Insurance, Failure to Secure Registration, two counts of Possession of Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, two counts of Possession of Schedule III Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Possession of Legend Drug.
