Three teens have been arrested for allegedly destroying expensive Christmas decorations in Ascension Parish.

The three suspects were caught on surveillance footage destroying decorations outside a home in the Old Dutchtown Subdivision. Roughly 18 other homes reported similar damage. We’re told an anonymous tip called in regarding the identities of the vandals.

“While this type of senseless crime shocks the conscience of everyone who cares about personal property and the Christmas season, this crime also served as a catalyst for the affected neighborhood to come together and do what neighbors should do, which is help each other out,” Sheriff Wiley said.

Roarke Dunn and Rendell Reid of Geismar were arrested today and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail. The third teen, Adam Delucci was located in Brusly and will be transferred to Ascension Parish.

The teens will face 19 counts of Criminal Trespass, one count of felony Criminal Damage to Property, 18 counts of misdemeanor Criminal Damage to Property, and Criminal Mischief.
