Tip from LSU student helps police capture man accused of church burglary

On April 17, 2013, LSU Police released images of a male wanted in connection to multiple thefts on the campus of LSU where personal electronics were stolen.

Between April 4, 2013, and April 8, 2013, Collins is suspected of having entered the LSU International Cultural Center located on Dalrymple Drive at West Lakeshore Drive and stole a laptop computer, and twice entered Christ the King Church located on Highland Road at Dalrymple Drive and stole a media player.

On April 29, 2013, thanks to an attentive LSU student who notified LSU Police, Ronald Collins, 46, of Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with one count of Felony Theft and one count of Burglary of a Religious Building.
