IBERIA PARISH, LA (NBC33) — A teen is behind bars today for robberies that happened in Iberia Parish last week. Two of his friends are also locked up for helping the teen escape from law enforcement.

The New Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Shane Adams, 17, on Wednesday, March 14 at around 6:30 p.m. They believe he’s responsible for three burglaries that happened on March 9.

Adams was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail for three counts of Simple Burglary.

Also arrested were Courtney Robin, 18, and Jade Romero, 18, for Harboring a Fugitive and Accessory After the Fact.
