Three teens arrested for armed robbery with BB gun, fourth teen wanted

HOUMA, LA (NBC33) — Three teens were arrested in Terrebonne Parish for allegedly committing two armed robberies and shooting one victim multiple times with a BB gun.
The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office began investigating the case on Friday, June 29 at roughly 10:30 p.m. after being called to the 400 block of Harding Drive in Houma.
Witnesses told deputies that three 16-year-old males were walking on Alma Street when they were approached by four males on bicycles. The suspects pulled out handguns, which appeared to be BB guns, and robbed them of a cell phone and wallet.
According to reports the suspect fired at one of the victims. We’re told the victim was struck by BB pellets in the face, arm, finger and back.
Several hours later a second armed robbery was called in to the sheriff’s office.
Shortly before 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, deputies responded to Cascade Drive, which is close to where the first incident occurred. The victim, a 20 year old male who was skateboarding at the time, told deputies that he was approached by two suspects. He claims that the suspects was carrying a BB gun.
Deputies were able to track down a 14 year old boy who they believe to be connected to both robberies. Two 15 year old boys were also arrested in connection to the first robbery incident.
All of the teen boys were booked into the Terrebonne Parish Juvenile Justice Complex. A fourth suspect, Joshua Douglas, 17, is believed to be connected to both robberies and is wanted by authorities.
