ASCENSION PARISH, La (NBC33) — One man is arrested and another is on the run after a string of copper thefts from a rental company in Ascension Parish.

Donnell Bates, 23, was arrested and charged with felony theft. His accused accomplice, Dechavin Brown, 38, is still on the run tonight.

NBC33 has been told that at the same business, while officers were on a stakeout, Ascension Deputies caught Levell Green, 21, who admitted to stealing copper. Another man, Dante Hester was also arrested.
