Three criminals wanted for armed robbery in Assumption parish

On Thursday, April 14, Philip Craig, 18, was arrested in conjunction with an armed robbery that occurred on March 29th at the Spur 70 One Stop store in Plattenville. He was found due to a DNA match on a blood stain found during the investigation.
Also arrested was Eugene Fredericks, 18, on April 20.
A third suspect, Demond Lewis, 23, also turned himself.
-- The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for three criminals that robbed a store on March 29.
Three masked men with handguns entered Spur 70 One Stop in Plattenville, LA and robbed two female employees of an undetermined amount of money.
During the robbery, one of the suspects pistol whipped an employee, causing a laceration to her head. The injury was minor and she was fine.
When the employees didn’t open the cash register fast enough, one of the suspects picked it up. The suspects then ran out the front door.
Deputies found the register and items belonging to the suspects in a ditch of a nearby house and in a nearby pasture behind Lucky Hit subdivision.
