Three arrested in conjunction with meth lab

Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports that on February 13, 2012, three subjects were placed under arrest for the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Agents learned of an active methamphetamine laboratory located in the 52000 block of Highway 1065 in Independence. 

Agents approached the residence and located Samuel Tullos, 36, and Tina Taylor, 42, in the final stages of the manufacturing process. Agents also located Roxy Duplantier Rivas, 37, in the process of injecting suspected methamphetamine.

Agents arrested and charged Tullos and Taylor for the Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Cruelty to a Juvenile.

Rivas was placed under arrest and charged for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Roxycodone, and Cruelty to a Juvenile.

A fifteen year old juvenile was also in the residence during the time of the incident. The child was placed in the care of a family member.
