Third suspect arrested in conjunction with second degree murder suspect

DONALDSONVILLE, LA (NBC33) — THIS IS AN NBC33 NEWS UPDATE - Three men have been arrested for a murder in took place in Donaldsonville.
19 year-old Bernard Solomon surrendered to authorities in connection with the death of Phillip Allen.
Ascension Parish deputies say on Friday, November 11, 38 year-old Phillip Allen was the victim of a fatal shooting at his apartment on West 4th Street in Donaldsonville.
Detectives also have in custody 17 year-old Winston "Tutu" Foster and Lloyd Phillips, both of Donaldsonville. They're all charged with Second Degree Murder.
-- Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a young man from Donaldsonville late yesterday evening and charged him with the murder of Phillip Allen.
On Nov. 10, 2011, several shots were fired through a window of a home located on West 4th Street in Donaldsonville. Phillip Allen, who lived at that location was sitting in front of the window and was killed by the gunfire.
During the course of the investigation into Allen’s death, detectives received information that Winston Foster, 17, was involved in the murder. The shooting is believed to be related to a dispute between Allen and another person who lived at West 4th Street, but was not at the residence at the time.
An arrest warrant charging Foster with Second Degree Murder was obtained at 5:55 p.m. on November 15 and he was arrested at 6:52 p.m. on the same date.
Foster is currently being held in the Ascension Parish Jail and his bond has been set at $1,000,000.
We're told the investigation into the murder is still ongoing.
