UPDATE - On October 24, the third suspect, Tyrus Arceneaux, who was wanted in the burglaries off of Sawmill Hwy. in Breaux Bridge, was arrested in Lafayette.

Arceneaux, 25, Carencro, in addition to the Burglary Arrest Warrant was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the following charges: Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Schedule II CDS and Illegal Carrying Of a Weapon.

ORIGINAL: Two men have been arrested and one suspect is still at-large in conjunction with the robbery of a home.

On September 20 at approximately 9:30 a.m., a residence off of Sawmill Hwy., near the Lafayette/St. Martin Parish line, was broken into and numerous items were taken.

Two of the suspects have been arrested with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Violent Offender Task Force and the Carencro Police Department. Brandon Alfred, 24, of Carencro, and Voorhies Gotch, 24, of Carencro, were both arrested on burglary charges and are currently in Lafayette Parish Prison, awaiting extradition to St. Martin Parish.

The third suspect remains at large and is identified as Tyrus Arceneaux 25, Lafayette. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Mr. Arceneaux is asked to contact the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 394-3071.
