BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — BRPD investigators are looking for the person who shot a 16-year-old once in the back Thursday night.

The teen was found at a home on Warfield Street, but detectives say the boy was shot near the intersection of Stacy Street and Tams Drive a few blocks away around 10:15 p.m.

As of Friday morning, the teen was listed in serious condition at the hospital. Police have not identified a suspect or a motive.
