THIBODAUX, LA (NBC33) — A teen was arrested for Terrorizing after he pointed a stolen pellet gun at a woman.
The Thibodaux Police Department reports that the incident occurred on Monday, May 6 at roughly 4:30 p.m. We’re told it all started when three teens entered a business located in the 300 block of North Canal Blvd.
An employee of the store had a suspicion that the teens were there to steal. The woman approached one teen, and the young man had a black handgun pointed at her.
Officials say the employee was able to get the gun away from the teen and called police.
The teens told officers that the weapons were actually pellet guns, and they had stolen them a month prior from another Thibodaux business.
The juvenile who pointed the gun at the store employee was arrested at the scene. He was charged with Terrorizing.
The other two juveniles were released to their guardians pending further investigation.
