SHREVEPORT, LA — A 16-year old is accused of raping another teen at Booker T. Washington High School Tuesday afternoon.

Shreveport police are investigating the alleged sexual assault that took place at around 12:00 p.m. in the 2100 block of Milam Street.

Authorities say a 15-year old female student reported she had been sexually assaulted by a boy while at Booker T. Washington High School. The teenager told detectives that she was pulled into a janitorial supply closet and sexually assaulted. The girl was taken to a local hospital where investigators interviewed her.

A 16-year old male student was taken to police headquarters and interviewed. He was then arrested and charged with forcible rape. The accused rapist was booked into the Caddo Parish Juvenile Detention Center.
