Tangipahoa Parish, La (NBC33) — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is offering a $2,500 reward for information on why a Hammond businesswoman was murdered.

Mary Alvarez was found shot in the head and bleeding in front of her nursery back on November 14.

The 63-year-old later died at the hospital.

Investigators can't seem to find a motive in this shooting and claim they have very few leads.
