Tangipahoa deputies arrest wanted man seen holding sign and flowers
Tangipahoa, La (NBC33) — Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joshua Rugg Robinson, 32, of Bogalusa Friday, Feb. 14, after a roadside investigation revealed that he was wanted by Louisiana State Police on fraud charges.
Officers responded to reports of a “suspicious person” selling flowers at the intersection of Milkplant Road and Highway 40.
The caller told police that the suspect was a white man wearing a dark coat, and holding a sign and flowers.
Detectives located the suspect and identified him as Robinson. They soon discovered that Robinson was wanted by LSP for fraud.
Police took Robinson into custody and booked him into the parish jail.
