Two stars of the hit reality show “Swamp People” were arrested for their alleged involvement in a fight.

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident was reported on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the Roland’s Mini Mart in Bourg, La. However, the victim told deputies that the attack actually occurred on Aug. 8.

Officials say the victim told deputies that he arrived at the Mini Mart and was beat up by Roland “RJ” Molinere, Jr., 51, and Roland “Jay Paul” Molinere, III, 25. Both men are current cast members of “Swamp People.”

The victim claims that the two men attacked him and struck him in the head with a beer bottle. He claims he had a black eye, swollen jaw and a knot to his forehead. He went to a doctor for treatment.

Investigators learned that the attack was related to a verbal altercation that had taken place earlier in the day. The two men allegedly followed the victim to the Mini Mart and became physical.

Deputies attempted to contacted RJ and Jay Paul, but were unsuccessful. After further investigation, they obtained warrants for their arrest.

On Friday, Sept. 6, both men surrendered to the Terrebonne Parish Jail. They are both charged with Aggravated Battery. Bond was set at $1,000 each.
