BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Two people suspected for the murder of a Baton Rouge man turned themselves in to police in the late evening on Wednesday, March 14.

Jordan K Tate, 17, and Lashonda Sanford, 23, were both wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department in relation to the shooting death of Jeremy Stewart, 25.

Stewart was found shot in his vehicle, which was located on Columbus Dunn road on March 5, 2012.

Investigators believe the incident happened during a drug deal at around 1:00 a.m. Tate and Sanford were quickly identified as suspects.
