Suspect wanted for murder at Hammond apartment, one already arrested

The Hammond Police has arrested one suspect and are looking for a second person in the homicide that occurred in Hammond Friday, Jan. 25.

The Hammond Police, with the assistance of Southeastern Police, N.O.P.D homicide division as well as Jefferson Parish homicide division, has arrested Richard Hudson, 20, of New Orleans for allegedly shooting and killing Raphael Garrison, 23. Investigators believe the motive is narcotics related.

Hudson was arrested at his residence Saturday and will be charged with murder. He was booked into the Hammond jail and will be transported to the Tangipahoa Parish prison.

The Hammond Police are currently looking for the second suspect, Terry Michael Landry, 20, of Gretna, as he is still at large and possibly in the New Orleans area.
