THIS IS AN NBC33 NEWS UPDATE: Not long after releasing the surveillance video from a robbery at Cool Cats Snowballs, the suspect was identified. The Baton Rouge Police arrested Tevin Thompson, 18, of Baton Rouge. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on two counts of Simple Burglary and one count of Simple Arson by the Baton Rouge Fire Department Investigation Division.

ORIGINAL STORY: (11-16-11) The Baton Rouge Police Department is trying to find the man they say is responsible for robbing the Cool Cats Snowball Stand back in October. They believe he not only robbed the place, but then returned and set the place on fire.

Officials say the incident happened on Oct. 11, 2011 at the Snowball Stand on Prescott Road. The video attached to this story shows the suspect just before burglarizing the place. Police believe this is the same man who returned to the scene of the crime three weeks later and committed arson by setting the business on fire.

If you know anything about the man seen in this video, call Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-STOP (7867).
