Sulphur man accused of stalking, trying to run victim down with his car
SULPHUR, LA (NBC33) — A man was arrested after he stalked a former acquaintance and allegedly attempted to run the victim down with his car outside a nightclub.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident occurred on Tuesday, June 18 at roughly 3:00 a.m. We’re told the victim and a second person were going to their car to leave the club when the suspect, Kristian J. Gaudet, 36, of Sulphur, tried to run them down.
Gaudet is accused of stalking the victim for several days.
No one was injured during the incident.
Gaudet was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Stalking. His bond was set at $30,000.
