A student of Basile High School who has a prior arrest record was locked up again for allegedly bringing several firearms on school grounds.

Officials confirm that two K-9 units were used to search the school grounds of Basile High School on Thursday, Dec. 20. During the search several guns as well as ammunition were found in the vehicle of Coleman Mouille, 18.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that Mouille was booked into the jail for four counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Student on School Property. His bond was set at $10,000.

Mouille has two prior arrests from the Eunice Police Department. The first happened on February 28, 2012 and include the charges of Criminal Trespassing, Disturbing the Peace, Simple Battery, and Second-Degree Battery. The second happened on May 18, 2012 for a hit-and-run crash.
