Student arrested for false 911 call

BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) – A student at Westdale Middle School has been arrested for terrorizing the school on March 9.
While at school, the juvenile called the 911 center in Baton Rouge. During the phone call, he stated that someone had a machine gun and people were going to die.
The threat made the entire faculty concerned, and the Baton Rouge Police Department was called.
Officers searched for a possible gunman, disrupting both the school and the neighborhood in the area of the school. No gunman was found.
Evidence from both the emergency call center and the juvenile’s admission led to an arrest.
